Students will receive training to support this access control product and the associated hardware of a basic installation. Class labs include installation and setup of WIN-PAK PE, installation or training of NS2+ panels, configuration and troubleshooting, and management of OS users and groups.

With NetAXS, you can easily program and manage your access control system using either an integrated Web-browser or traditional PC-based software. LobbyWorks Visitor Management System

The LobbyWorks technical training course is a two and a half day course designed for dealer employees installing and supporting the LobbyWorks Visitor Management System. Labs include installation or programming of LobbyWorks Front Desk, LobbyWorks Kiosk, WEB Center, Notify, and Reporter. This course is designed for installation technicians, service technicians and project managers involved with an installation of LobbyWorks Standard or Professional. Oak Creek, WI classes are free to dealer staff, but a PO # is still required to hold course registrations.

Active Alert Video Analytics System

This two-day facility-based course will train on hardware and software installations of Active Alert Video Analytics. This course is designed for installation technicians, service technicians and project managers involved with an Active Alert Video Analytics installation. This two-day course emphasizes on camera placement / lens selection, and comprehensive training on all 16 possible zone configurations.

MAXPRO-Net Matrix System

This five-day facility-based course will train on hardware and software installations of MAXPRO-Net. This course is designed for installation technicians, service technicians and project managers involved with a MAXPRO-Net installation. A PO# is required to register for the class.

This five-day facility-based course will train on hardware and software installations of Video Enterprise NVR. The course is designed for installation technicians, service technicians and project managers involved with an Enterprise Video installation. A PO# is required to register for the class.

Honeywell Video Management System

This three-day training course will focus on the technical installation, support and service of a basic HVMS site. Students will be trained on the installation options and scenarios available with HVMS. Labs will focus on a basic installation from start to finish and will cover most HVMS features. The course will conclude with an overview of HVMS integration with the Pro-Watch access control system. Class attendance and no-show fee is $1,500.00 per person. In order to register for this course, a student must have successfully completed Honeywell’s DVM R200 class as a pre-requisite. In addition, a purchase order is required to confirm registration.

Honeywell Video Management System (HVMS)

This three-day training course will focus on the technical installation, support and service of a basic HVMS site. Students will be trained on the installation options and scenarios available with HVMS. Labs will focus on a basic installation from start to finish and will cover most HVMS features. The course will conclude with an overview of HVMS integration with the Pro-Watch access control system. Class attendance and no-show fee is $1,500.00 per person. In order to register for this course, a student must have successfully completed Honeywell’s DVM R200 and PW 3.7classes as a pre-requisite. In addition, a purchase order is required to confirm registration.

Digital Video Manager (DVM)

The course will cover hardware architecture for installation of DVM servers, cameras and streamers/encoders. The main focus of the course is DVM installation, configuration, administration and troubleshooting. Completion of this course will provide skills to support a base installation and typical DVM customer site. Labs include installation or training of networking basics, installation and configuration of DVM R200, installation and configuration of fixed and PTZ cameras, installation and configuration of streamers/encoders, and integration of DVM with Pro-Watch Release 3.7.

Class attendance and no show fee is $ 1500.00 per person. The class is free for dealer staff, but a PO # is required to confirm registration.

Pro-Watch Release 3.7 Basic Course

In this four-day class, students will learn the fundamentals of the hardware and software installations required in supporting a base system. Labs provide hands-on experience on installing or training of PW-5000 IC, I/O boards and enclosures, network configuration, installation and daily use of SQL, installation and setup of Pro-Watch Professional Edition and Corporate Edition, and basic setup of a Pro-Watch site. The course is designed for installation technicians, service technicians and project managers. Class attendance and no show fee is $ 1500.00 per person. The class is free for dealer staff, but a PO # is required to confirm registration. This course is a pre-requisite to attending the Pro-Watch Release 3.7 Advanced Course.

Pro-Watch Release 3.7 Advanced Course

In this three-day class, students will take their experience from the Basic Course and extend their education to support existing Pro-Watch sites. Labs provide hands-on experience on configuring advanced triggers and procedures, panel, SQL and user levels. Additional SQL scripts and support tools will be provided as well as training on integration into Pro-Watch with DVM, Honeywell VISTA Intrusion, and LobbyWorks Visitor Management Systems. The course is designed for service technicians, advanced site administrators and project managers. Class attendance and no show fee is $ 1500.00 per person. The class is free for dealer staff, but a PO # is required to confirm registration. Attendees must already be certified with the Pro-Watch Basic Course class* and have at least three weeks experience in Pro-Watch site installation. This course is a pre-requisite for the Pro-Watch Enterprise course.

* Note: Students who have attended and passed the previous Pro-Watch certification course will be grandfathered in once proof of certification is verified.

Pro-Watch Release 3.6 Enterprise Edition

During this three-day class, students learn the fundamentals of the hardware and software installations required in supporting a base system. Labs provide hands-on experience with Pro-Watch Enterprise Edition and MS SQL2000. The course is designed for programmers and service technicians. Students must be Pro-Watch CE certified and have at least three months of job site experience with Pro-Watch Corporate Edition. Class attendance and no show fee is $ 1500.00 per person. This five day course covers the Vindicator Intrusion Detection System and remote monitoring. Designed to provide all the necessary tools, this course allows a person with prior electronic security background to install and maintain a Vindicator system. Lab potions of the class will provide students with hands on experience to reinforce what they have learned.

This course offers a hands-on learning experience. Topics are presented by the instructor and objective and LAB quizzes are given daily as well as comprehensive final exam.

Vindicator Command & Control (VCC)
Programming & Operations Course

This four day course covers the use and administration of the Vindicator Command and Control platform. This is a follow-up course to the Intrusion Detection System course and requires a basic knowledge of electronic intrusion detection systems and Vindicator V5 IDS.

This course includes the following.
• Graphics creation
• Graphics importing
• Creating responders
• Creating association libraries
• Logical flow of alarm displays
• User configurations
• Programming libraries for language
• Configuration of remote VCC terminals
• Windows setup associated with VCC
• Basic troubleshooting of VCC communication
• Administration access/controls/setup

This course does not include the electronic aspect of the installation or the configuration and programming of UHS products.

A PO # is required to register for the class.

Access Control System (ACS)

This five day course covers the Vindicator Access Control System (ACS). Topics include equipment installation, operation and programming. The course is designed to provide the necessary tools for a person with prior electronic security background to install and maintain a Honeywell Vindicator Security Solutions system.


Requirements: This course includes the electronic aspect of the installation, and requires that the student have a basic understanding of electronics, test equipment and access control.


This course offers a hands-on learning experience. Topics are presented by the instructor and objective and LAB quizzes are given daily as well as comprehensive final exam.


The course will cover the following topics:
• Access technology
• Reader programming
• Operation
• Installation
• Reader interface
• Readers
• Principals of access control
• Vindicator access control system
• Configuration and programming
• Enrollment, reporting and user options
• Setup and control of third party devices
• Basic troubleshooting.

Vindicator Badge Manager - Operation and Administration Course

This course covers the basics of badge creation and issuance as well as advanced system administration capabilities. It is a follow-on course to the Vindicator Access Control System course and requires a basic knowledge of electronic access control, the V5 ACS and Microsoft SQL. Classroom topics will include lecture and lab-style instruction to ensure that a student can successfully create and issue a badge, manage card-holder permissions and entry rules and perform other common badging administrator functions. The class includes the following:
• Vindicator Badge Manager 2.0
• Setup and configuration of badging station components
• Operation of both standalone and central badging database
• Entry rule creation and management
• Location assignment to card-holder personnel
